Subject: It's always Guza's fault, but for some strange reason....
In reply to: SomethingAboutLuke 's message, "Guza is in the same church but a different pew" on 20:56:56 07/11/07 Wed

..some fans just REFUSE to believe it. They say things like JFP won't let him do what he wants or Frons is dictating story, OR now it's Guza is busy with Night Shift and it's the other writers fault. They never learn.

We've been watching Guza's stories for so long that we know without a doubt that Guza is responsible for the stories on this show. He's done this rooting interest thing a lot of times in the magazines. He usually says it when a couple is so far destroyed that you no longer care anymore. In fact, I found this old Guza quote today from the 1999 May SID....

Guza: The ultimate goal with Lucky's death is to do the biggest thing we can do to General Hospital. What would that be? To break up Luke and Laura. But once you do that irrevocably, then the goal is to see if they can ever get back together again. That's the goal of the second part of the arc. As a fan myself, I'd like to believe that they can reunite. I just think that it may take a long, long time. They are forever my rooting interest.
