This is where research comes in handy.

1)Yes, you do need an license to sell insurance.

2)Primerica is under the Travelers umbrella which owns reputable companies like Citigroup and Smith Barney.

3)Yes, most insurance companies create their own leads which makes you an employee. Primerica gives you the opportunity to build your own business if you have the entreprenurial spirit. If not then perhaps you should work for another insurance company.

Primerica is a legit company. I agree the tactics used were questionable. However, don't give a company a bad name based upon one experience.

If you owned your own business you would have to go out and find leads? So what is the difference here?
