Expansion? You probably know the league has scheduled a pre-season game in Halifax for this spring. Hamilton - Toronto. Tom Wright, league comissioner, is on record several times that Atlantic Canada is first on his list for the 10th team, and Wright has shown himself to be a 'behind closed doors' organizer who only makes announcements when they're solid. So while he's working twords a Halifax team there's nothing to get excited about until we hear something about a stadium being built, or at least financed.

As for Hamilton....I won't be happy until they go back to the old colors. That sort of carmel/yellow/orange thing they used to wear. I hate basic black in football.

I was watching a Montreal - Hamilton game back in 1978 or 79, half listening to the pre-game interviews and so on, waiting for the actual game to start when I heard the following between an Als player and a Ti-Cats player when asked about the uniform designs of the two teams. They descirbed the two uniform looks as "a game between the Pepsi cans and the school busses".

I'd love to see them go back to those unis.
