I agree with you on the teams you mentioned as far as what teams should never change their logo. I could probably add some more teams to that list (Oakland, Chicago, KC).

Thanks for the comments on the Continental. That league has been quite the challenge! I will be adding 2 more teams soon (Montreal and Newark)!

I know what your talking about regarding the AFL logos (Denver Bronco football player on top of donkey, Buffalo Bills football player inside oval with buffaloes, San Diego horse inside shield, etc.) Would definitely like to add those!

As far as your question, I guess I perceive that the early NFL teams (vintage) either went without helmets or used plain brown leather helmets. I could change all of those helmets to a plain brown to be more accurate but I thought it would be kind of fun to give them colors. Photos for most of those teams are pretty elusive though I have seen several (Minneapolis Marines, Columbus Panhandles, Oorange Indians) but most or all of the players don't even wear helmets!

I have seen more helmets on the teams of the AAFC, albeit B&W, so those will stay the same. Quite the quandary, isn't it?

Maybe, eventually, I will just remove the helmets from the Vintage section (except for more recent teams like the Dallas Texans, NY Yankees, etc.) and just keep the logos ?

Look for the vintage Milwaukee Badgers, the aforementioned Oorang Indians and the Portsmouth, Ohio Spartans soon! (Thanks to John, of course!)

thanks again for the compliments!
