The Ms was rt even though I'd flip the alternates. Mrs WAY OFF. Olivia should have won, if not then Carla, Winner seems nice & it is not her fault that Shelly does not get good judges. Shelly's pageants are just that a Shelly Pageant. One can only assume the judges are going to know more than one contestant, have judged for Shelly at least twice before, maybe recruited a contestant, have been a director for a contestant or trained a contestant. The pageants will run long, be conducted in a very unprofessional manner and rarely turn out the way you would think they should. However this is something that is pretty well known & expected. Shelly is a nice person, she will do a bunch to help the contestants. You can call and ask for a discount, help finding attire, coaching, extra time to get your money in, etc. She is the only director with a Ms catagory for "big" titles so she will always get some competitors. -- Unofficial Miss Louisiana USA Board

She has a following, but if you are looking for a real LA USA style even, her pageants are just not those. Use them for practice & ask your coach/friends how you did no matter what the judges say.
