There are some things that many people don't realize, Mr. Walters didn't dominate in Interviews. He was the head judge. As head judge It was his responsability to greet the contestant, ask them to have a seat, ask the first question, then If It got back around to his turn ask another question and finally when time was called, It was his responsability to tell the contestant that their time is up and before she leaves ask If there is anything that she would like to tell them before she goes. when the contestant finishes speaking, It is once again his responsability to thank her and wish her well in the pageant. -- Unofficial Miss Louisiana USA Board

    - Ummm, I am not sure when the last time you did a festival pageant but they don't ask those kinds of questions. I think that people were upset that the Head judge, who only if you work for the pageant would you know he was the head judge, had been one of the contestant's directors in the past. That would be like Debbie Greene judging AL or Millie Harris judging Faith Good. So people are upset with the judges who cares, it is over with, if people want to fuss, let them. If they are not ready for state then they are not ready for state. You are not going to make everyone happy, but directors NEED to do their best at not asking judges who are too close to contestants to judge. -- That's all I am saying, 15:05:35 12/02/08 Tue
      - I tell you I did La Honey Bee Festival Pageant and I can tell you that a favorite color question was not asked, I have done it twice and several other festival pageants and I can tell you that La Honeybee was the hardest interview I have ever done.
