While you are entitled to your very rude opinion, I would love the opportunity to help you out. While you may not consider Andrea attractive (and I'll admit that is not her best photo) in person (and other photos) she is a pretty girl, with a big heart. Most LA Gumbo queens are local girls who have always wanted the chance to represent their community, and the volunteer fire department that protects it. Did I mention their fire department operates solely on funds made at their festival? As for her banner... that is not the banner Mrs. Eloise purchased, nor is it the banner she was crowned with. Andrea picked out, and purchased that banner for herself. If you don't like it then you don't have to worry about buying one, do you? Fortunately for everyone here there are many more girls with better personalities to beat you in competition. Happy holidays to you and yours...Maybe Santa will bring you an attitude adjustment!

Maybe you are her Mother and just trying to make her feel better. I myself have never lost a pageant. My interview knocks them out of the water. I am happy she will be representing the fire dept. good for her. Why would anyone with any common sense or sense of style pick that banner? I know how to show my personality in order to win.
