WELL HERE GOES, THERE HAS BEEN A LOT GOING ON. SOME HAS BEEN TRUE ABOUT CERTAIN CONTESTANTS SO THAT IS NOT BASHING, ONLY STATING THE TRUTH. OTHERS HAVE BEEN JUST OPINIONS ABOUT MAYBE HOW A CERTAIN CONTESTANT LOOKED. IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE JUDGED ON THEIR LOOKS GET OUT OF THE PAGEANT INDUSTRY. THIS IS NOT A NICE BUSINESS, NEVER HAS BEEN. LIKE MY GRANNY USED TO SAY, "IF IT DON'T LOOK GOOD DON'T PUT IT ON YOUR FRONT PORCH FOR ALL TO SEE" IF THEY WERE BEING JUDGED SOLELY ON SAY, INTERVIEW SKILLS, THEY NEED TO GET OUT OF PAGEANTS AND GET OUT QUICKLY. PERSONALLY I THINK LACEY LOOKS A LITTLE LONG IN THE TOOTH FOR A MISS CONTESTANT AND THE TEEN NC IS UGLY, SORRY.

Opinions about someone's appearance is one thing, but how you phrase that opinion is another. For example "long in the tooth" may be better stated as "she looks a little older than the other miss contestants" and "the Teen NC is ugly" could be rephrased as "the NC Teen USA wasn't the most facially beautiful contestant in the pageant" or even "I personally don't find her very attractive." It has nothing to do with being PC, but with knowing how to handle people with YOUR opinion. Not to mention that sometimes, it is indeed okay to keep one's opinion to oneself.
