Subject: is this a break up sign?

hi me and my boyfriend have been together close to 4yrs now.he has always been faithful me too.he is very homely and quiet and all that cool type.i'm very lively love talking and going out. of recent he found a friend a gal who calls late at night and they talk for hours.she came over once .i thought okay fine.now everyday he seems to call her even if she doesn't call he once lied to me about where he was goig and i found out he went out with her.we all study in the same university but she is 2 yrs younger.he said she is just a friend but when i am around all 3 of us he gets angry i see it in his eyes.if just friend why this sudden need for her? what should i do?how should i react?pls reply as soon as you can.i love him sooooomuch and after 4 yrs i can't bear this.especially cos it has never been.
