Okay. My name is Erin and I have this problem. I am friends with this guy named Jay, who I also like. I have known him since May and ever since then, our friendship has rapidly been progressing. We went from just "hi" and "bye" in the hall, to talking on the phone everyday. So, what's the problem? He told me many times to my face that he would never ever tell anyone who he liked. A little while later, my friend asked if he liked me, he shyly said "no." We weren't really friends then. That was when we just waved in the halls. Now, however, he calls me all the time. He asks me to sit next to him on the bus, and he's always saying how cute I am and how much he wants to hug me. Even in class, it's non-stop flirting. He's always grinning at me and he walks me from class to class sometimes. He even came to my house and waited for me to come out! See, most people might say he likes me. I think so too, but if so, why won't he tell me? And about two weeks ago he told me that he had a crush on my best friend. See, when you add it all up, to me, it doesn't spell out "he likes you," it spells out "i'm confused." We're both 14 years old and I need to know what I should do and if he likes me. Please, take a minute to help a frustrated chick who hopelessly loves a guy, wondering if he loves her back.
