Tell Daniel what happened. Be honest. Tell him you wanted to get to know if at first because he knew Scott, but then you kind of got attached. It sounds like you and Daniel would have a better relationship at this point in time if you were just good friends. If Scott is in a relationship right now, I guess waiting it out or finding another guy would be the best thing to do. ASL?
