You must be the one who has no life. Shame on you for trying to cause problems on this board. It will be better for all of us who appreciate this program, its winners, and volunteers, if you do stick your nose somewhere else. Good ridance to bad rubbish!! We don't need your kind here. Indiana is proud of all of the former Miss Indianas, but especially the ones who give back. The fact that they DO give back brings strength to the program and encourages new women to give it a try.
You do these things to do what. Make yourself feel big? Try to bring the program down? Call attention to what a nasty person you are? Think you'll make someone feel small who's done a lot more with her life than you EVER will? Volunteers, contestants and regular folks like me get fed up with obnoxious, judgemental, and cruel people. Hurtful people only scare away possible good contenders for the state crown as well as run off the volunteers who don't want to put up with your crap.
Do you think your continous putdowns of wonderful women like Sara and Kelly make you a bigger person than they are? Well. . . .NO!!!!!!! If I were Kelly Lloyd, I would be tempted to give up the Miss Indiana website, which she has done for, what, let's see. . . .4 years now, with NO, I said, "NO" monetary compensation. Only because she believes in the program did she develop the site and put in all the hours, then to be kicked in the teeth by someone like you. I'm sure she has enough to worry about with Law School and her USA duties to put up with gossip and this kind of negative crap, and how she's dealt with it this long is a mystery to me. It certainly has nothing to do with staying in the spotlight, because her life is full without the Miss Indiana program. She very easily could have gotten involved with the USA system and never looked back. But, she didn't. That's what makes her a GREAT Miss Indiana! She was successful in life before the Miss Indiana program and the Miss America experience and well after her year of service was iover. She has never needed any stupid 5 minutes of fame.
To the other obnoxious one who made a comment about the Indy Men's Magazine photo. Turn your flushed red cheeks the other way if you don't want to look at it. It was done in extremely good taste and I happen to know that there is not one person in her family who has a problem with the photo or the article. Kelly has done nothing but make this state proud, and will continue to do so, much to your chagrin.
Sara E-Church, you have been nothing but a class act for those who have followed your Miss Indiana career. It doesn't matter how anyone placed at Miss America, or whether they did at all, but how they wore the crown and represented the people in the program as well as the whole state of Indiana. Now you're a married lady and the whole of your life is your family. Don't let the ramblings of this idiot get to you, nor to you Kelly. Just hold your heads high, like you did when you wore the crown, and may only life's best come to both of you. God bless.
