“Stereotypes In Sim Nation”
Article By: Blake Fairchild

Sim Nation has undergone many changes in the recent years. These changes aren’t all because of the new dimension. These changes are due to the new styles of music, fashion, and new stars who have emerged in the Music Business. Country stars like Summer Riley and Fayth Montgomery tend to keep to themselves and are very down to earth. Alternative singers like Scott Sayers and Blake Star are in the news quite often, but they are never a part of anything scandalous. However, rock stars like Ava Delonge and Josh Anders are always a part of something large. Be it relationships or music. Other stars, like Cody Renark, Britani Jacobs, Ashlee Morris, River Mallory, Willow Mallory, and Sara Amberly are constantly in the news for things that could be considered controversial.

Let’s start with the rock stars. A lot of rock stars are against stereotyping. This is because they don’t want to be labeled as “punks” or “freaks”. However, they seem to label everyone else as “posers”, “prep”, “spoiled”, just because they aren’t the same. They dress in preppy clothes, yes, but does that really mean that they are snotty and think that they are better than everyone else? Not necessarily. Take Scott Sayers for instance. He dresses very “preppy” as some would say. However, we all know that he is probably one of the best rock stars out there. Sara Amberly, again, she is very girly and cares about how she looks. Sara, though, is very active in many charities. This may seem a little strange, but they’re all the same.

Now, for the pop stars. They get a lot of flack for their music choices, life choices, exec. I find it hard to allow my daughter to listen to lyrics sung by a lot of these popular musicians. These words are very explicit and many of the women tend to dress in well…nothing. Britani Jacobs and Sara Amberly come to mind when I speak of this. They seem to think that their voices aren’t good enough and they need to flaunt their breasts, abs, or other “ass”ets to the public to gain publicity. Rock stars on the other hand rely solely on their music.

A lot of the Pop Culture stars are experimenting with rock and country. Some, like Scott Sayers, are even working with other stars on Religious songs. Do we really need labels? Why can’t we just get to know someone and then judge from that? Just because you grew up differently, dress differently, sing or act differently - it doesn’t mean that one or the other is doomed to hell.

Britani Jacobs, she had a very hard life. Now she a “punk” is happily married to “preppy” Ace Hampton with a little girl, Cecilia Hampton. Ashlee Morris and River Mallory come from similar backgrounds. Now they are married with a son, Jet and another child on the way. Ian Heart and Cheyane McNally were best “preppy” friends. Now Cheyane has toned down and began wearing clothes (even though her daughters didn’t inherit that) and has six children while married to her best friend. Scott Sayers and Willow Mallory are parents of a beautiful little girl, Arwen, and are looking forward to getting married soon.

If Sims of different backgrounds and personas can get along or married - why can’t we all? What is the point in arguing? We all die one day, and it will not matter in the end what you thought, did, or said.

And in the future, the words on this computer screen will be erased with time. Nothing I ever thought, did, or said while writing this will ever matter.
