Friday was my youngest daughter's b-day (29) YIKES! So as she had to work til 9 pm, I made her b-day dinner yesterday. Invited her and her family(guess cuz I had to!) lol, my other daughter and her family, and my parents. All totaled 10 people. Now that isn't many to some, but my house is only 1100 sq. ft. and we didn't eat in the bedrooms! lol Needless to say after watching Giovanni all week (8mos. old today) I had to clean house all morning, then fixed manicotti for dinner with salad, fruit salad, waldorf salad, garlic bread, veggies, etc. I'm only telling you all this crap to let you know that by the time everyone arrived I was pooped! So now throw in the picture 5 kids under the age of 10, all but 1 under the age of 7. Remember SMALL house. After about an hour, I thought it must be at least 8 pm. Nope, 5:00, lol. About that time the three year old, Quinn (adorable but male) comes into the living room and asks his Dad to "put this on me." "This" happened to be a bridal veil from the granddaughter's toy collection. ROFL! His Dad raised his eyebrows, muttered sumthin about talking to him about this when he turned 16 and properly adjusted it to his head. For the next 30 minutes we were regaled (amid some regular conversation)with Quinn running through the entire house pushing a doll stroller and YELLING "... HERE COMES THE BRIDE!" roflmao. Today it is comical, last night it was torture! Just felt I had to share and have no idea why other than the fact that most of you think I'm nuts and now you know what keeps leading me there! rofl
