He shook his head letting out a low breath as he stopped her by taking her hand. "No..listen, Natty honey...we need to talk." He offered a slight, reassuring smile as he guided her to the couch, his lips pursed. "Jake...he got arrested tonight, Natalie." He cleared his throat lightly, his hand running down his hair. "I am on my way to the police station now but I wanted to tell you and Adam before it got any farther then this and you heard it somewhere else." He pursed his lips, his head tilting to the side as he let out a soft breath. "I think Adam is going to come with me to the station house to try and figure out what is going on...." -- Natalie's Apartment

This was ridiculous - their parents had all gone through this crap years and years ago, but they hadn't had or known anything else. But her brother, and all those other guys, they had the chance to have something better.
