Partway through his explanation, she threw herself into his arms, legs around his waist and her hands holding his face as she peppered kisses from cheek to cheek to eyelid, his forehead, and down his jaw. She didn't even care - hell, didn't even notice - that they were in the hallway, and she was half clothed, and he had a bag on the floor beside him. All the details were unimportant, because he was standing right there infront of him after over a year of aching and pining and crying. Her jumping on him had him stumbling back to lean against the wall, his arms going around her to support her on his frame as he laughed in sheer joy at having her with him again. "God, I missed you." He stated softly, if it hadn't been for her he probably would have giving his own freedom up for his best friend but he couldn't just leave her alone out here. She needed him, hell, he needed her and Jake knew that, thats why he had stepped up and took responsibility to his actions. It wasn't that he had felt remorse for them or anything like that, he had just wanted his friend back out with his sister - as much as Jake was giving up with Aly being here and him being in jail, it was his own punishment he had to take himself.
