The two girls were slouched into the couch together, side by side, and both looked up quickly as the door opened - one blonde, one brunette, and such different personalities, but both with some form of hope lighting their features. Natalie had no idea what Adam's problem was these days - he was withdrawn and secretive and, hell, no where to be found most of the time lately. It hurt because she needed him the most now, but she was the type of girl who didn't let things get her down - she was stronger than that, and she was determined to be there for Aly no matter what. She knew first hand what it was like to have her boy locked away, and so understood exactly how the other girl was feeling. When two (of the three) most important men walked through that door though and she registered what she was saying, shock registered on her features. "Adam? Jake! What the hell are you doing here?" She jumped to her feet and rushed over to throw her arms around her brother's neck for a tight hug, but then pulled back to put her hands on his arms - taking a good look to make sure that he was in one piece. "What's going on?" She looked to Adam, her brows furrowing - she was mad at him, but not so much furious, just confused. She wasn't used to him not telling her things... // Her mouth fell open and one hand flew up to her lips as she saw him standing there - she tried hard to be strong and not spend all of her time moping around with him gone, but she worried every day that his dad was going to call and tell her that there had been an incident and something had happened to Jake. Her friend jumped up and rushed over to the boys, but she stood much more slowly - taking a moment to get her feet underneath herself. She was confused, and afraid that this was a dream, and nearly trembling as she took a few small steps towards the threesome at the door - she didn't understand why he was there and what was going on, but seeing him standing in the flesh was an unbelievable relief...

He ducked his head sheepishly, drawing his girlfriend away from her brother and placed a sweet kiss to her cheek, just below her eye. "Missed you baby doll..." He just stated softly, his hand soothing down her back as he closed the door behind them, nodding towards Jake for him to go greet his girlfriend. // He smiled a little, his own breath catching in his throat as he watched her, a smile tipping up one side of his lips.
