She commented softly and slowly wrapped her arms around herself - without ever meaning to, he could make her feel like dirt quicker than anyone else in this world. She was the worst for letting her mouth run off before she spoke, and more than once she had ended up upsetting him in some fashion for some reason. No matter who was in the right and who was in the wrong, she always just felt bad for upsetting him - and she was always scared that he was just going to up and leave, because sometimes she saw something in him that made her think that he was considering it. "You don't have to tell me anything... I'm sorry. Please... I just didn't know where you were, and I was worried..." Terrified more like it - she had already lost him once, and then he had come back and she had lost her brother, and then they were both gone... // She pressed closer to him, her hands pushing slowly up his chest as her eyes slid lightly shut again as she returned that second kiss for a long moment before speaking again. "I missed you so much... I thought..." She trailed off though because she didn't want to say it - that she had thought she wouldn't see him again for so long, if ever - and she didn't even know how he was there or for how long, or what. She was most concerned with the fact that he was right there right then though, and so ducked her face into his neck to press a warm kiss to his pulse, and then brushed her lips over his jaw again. "Jake, I missed you so much..."

He tipped his head back, he may be able to make her feel like dirt but their relationship constantly reminded him of how much of a failure he was. He sighed softly, going over to her again and gently running his hands over her arms, dropping his lips down to hers lovingly. "I am sorry." He murmured softly, honestly and heartfelt. He didn't mean to keep hurting her over and over, it just seemed to happen and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it. // He hugged her tightly, inhaling her scent, the shampoo, lotion, body wash, all of it, it was just so comfortable and her and it soothed him more then anything else in the world.
