It was a combination of things really - she was pretty sure Nat and Adam wouldn't mind being alone, and the Davenports would be expecting her home, and not to mention him being drunk wasn't much encouragement. The idea of staying with him was tempting though... Her fingers tightened gently into his shirt and she reached up to press a kiss to the side of his mouth.
