Subject: Prayers

Please remember to pray for those who have been displaced, lost homes, loved ones, and for those who have lost their lives as a result of the hurricane in the south. Indeed, for all worldwide who suffer from poverty, hunger and distress.

From time to time, we are reminded of the ephemeral nature of the material world, and of the body. These are the most painful lessons of life, but it is through these lessons that gradually, the soul becomes unnattached. The Self is all that is eternal, all else passes away. Always (perpetually) keep the mind on the Self, which is seated in the cranium, and you will be safe.
