You bring some very valid point to this discussion. Yes, indeed there are some very good people on this board and my hats off to Ketch for continually keeping this board's existance. Thanks to Ketch for his time and efforts.

You have mentioned that "Again an independent observer enters into his or her task to validate something." Once one start validating then the duality sets in. Who is validating whom and how and for what ? One starts again labeling and the chakra of samsara continues. You have presented your thought s very eloquently. The belief system is good only to a certain extent. But, at the end of the day, on ehas to dinounce the beliefs and its benefits and experiences, all that has been accumulated which we call knowledge. The key solution to this is to understand and develop Primordial Awareness. There are four stages to developing the sharpened awareness.

First - the very gross level of awarenes which can perceive only outer activities and phenomena.

Second - Somewhat subtle - perceives the likes and dislikes etc and can classify the dual nature of sensations, bliss-bunnies, or emotions - it depends also on habitual thinking ( where all the the belief systemn comes in play). This is the difficult obstacle to overcome and a good teacher or a kalyan-mitra to keep one awake is indispensible. like a Zen stick.

Third - awareness becomes more clear and tends to withdraw from making a judgements etc. - also known as vivekakhyati by Patanjali

Fourth - primordial awarenss - where there is no distinction between good and bad, likes and dislikes. Everything is as it it. No labeling or validating whatsoever. This is a very simplified way of presenting it. It can be likened to dharmamegha (cloud of wisdom). It rains without any effort.

The primirdial awareness is always there but one has not seen his or her face. If you read liturature of Sri Lahiri Mahasaya, he has repeatedly mentioned about entering into the atom of Aatma or Brahman. That is as close as he comes to the primirdial awareness in kriya yoga science.
