My cheif concern with a guru figure is not knowing if i am being manipulated by money or their desire to be worshipped.

Having said that, i have looked at most of the "famous" gurus out there and am fairly certain that Yogananda is probably the best. Not to demean other gurus but from my point of view only.

Besides, not everyone is going to be attracted to the same guru. There is room enough on this planet for all kinds.

It's a good thing Yogananda exists IMO.
