Ouch! Agreed that Maharishi is not a great Yogi. So, he makes mistakes.

You may be right that he has no direct experience of the chakras. He may tend to minimize what he does not experience himself.

But you go a little far in saying that someone who does not experience the chakras should not be a yoga teacher.

Of course they could. All they would have to do is copy and paste from the writings of genuine yogi's, or rewrite it in their own words.


You are definitely very much mistaken there. There is so much rubbish out there, and so much padding in the scriptures, that you do have to understand well in order to collect it, simplify it, and put it together.
