According to yogic scriptures, among the koshas - sheaths - the anandamaya kosha is the innermost one. That means that Ananda - bliss - is the experience closest to pure existence.

There is also the term Sat-Chit-Ananda for the highest yogic state or experience. Sat is pure existence, and Chit means pure consciousness that makes the experience of bliss possible. Yet in experience the three are indivisible.

But there are many kinds of bliss. Hence I don't like "baiting" - using the promise of bliss, freedom, alleviation in order to make people do yoga. For some this may do, but many take it the wrong way and desire bliss etc. for personal benefit.
