Sounds fine to me. That would help us to justify a huge load of occult drawings and books. Once from the order in first place and then the second chapter. But i think the Widersacher killed them on the planet, not aboard the ship, because IT would just make it's own way then. Athena VI has enough gravity to keep the Widersacher on the planet. (I don't think he'd need oxygen)

2.
I think the ESP-sensivity comes with technology. I personally think real flashbacks would be cool. Like you see actual "people" running around. I like the idea of a "radar" or sensor, that starts to resonate evetrytime there is ESP activity around. Including demon possession.
Question is: will the player be able to move during such sequences or not?

3.
no player possession, alright.

4.
Cool idea. The Player maybe finds out later they are not real.

5.
No happy end then. Either Widersacher is freed and completely takes over the player to reach earth or manages to get into the Amulett the player will carry as soon as he finds out about the demon and thus makes his way to Terra.

6.
If he is a scout and part of a team, then they will be armored, trained soldiers. If he is an undercover detective with a team of support and supply workers it will be better because:
We will have people who are able to explain certain phenomenons, like a technician and a doctor.
A small amount of weapons makes a small amount of safety. (For most people)
My suggestion for the team is:
A technician
a biologist
a pilot
a doctor
maybe a pastor or psychotherapist
maybe a guard or even a banned prisoner
a dog

7.
Widersacher does not influence tech. he would have gone outta there in not time if he could. But technology can go wrong by itself without a problem (i remind you of a thing called "windows")...
