>>-Did the being come with the colonists from earth

I´d suggest so, for if the being would have existed on the planet before the settlers came we´ll probably have a hard time explaining why the order knew. My suggestion is that the Widersacher existed on earth an has been imprisoned by the order for ages. Some day the order recognized that there would come a stellar constelation (or anything like that) increasing the power of the Widersacher even further. Not knowing if they would still be able to deal with it they brought him to Athena IV. But something went wrong during the transport and Widersacher managed to kill the followers of the order that brought him to Athena VI. Years later the settlers (including some new followers of the order) reached Athena IV. While the settlers build up the new colony, the order searched for Widersacher. When they found it the battle mentioned before broke out.

I also like that idea very much. We should think about the Umsetzung though. Do we want the PC to have flashbacks or does he only have vague impressions of feelings? And how do we explain his esp sensivity? Is it realised through technology or is it some kind of supernatural ability? If we go with technology then we should think of a way of how it works.

I guess this can hardly be realised for it will be hard to mediate the charakters emotions to the player. If we made the PC say: "Ohh, I feel the strong urge to go into this cave also I have no idea why" that would be very ridiculous.
I pretty much like the idea of the PC having flashbacks of things he has done before but can´t remember because he was under Widersachers control. But we should give him some way to protect himself from Widersachers influence later on.

Sounds good to me.

IF we give the PC something to protect himself from Widersacher, we could make him escape as the only survivor not knowing that his amulett (or whatever it is that saves him from Widersacher) actually is Widersachers prison.

If he´s a scout and part of a team, that might create a more paranoid atmosphere fo he does not know who is friend or foe.

Does Widersacher have influence technology? I think this a basic question we have to discuss
