why so many teens resigning the last few years or showing potential at state then disappearing after they give up their title?

[> Subject: The teens are always pushed to the side. From what I have seen recently is the Teens aren’t given the opportunity to do what they really want to do. It’s always the Miss that are given the supplies and support for what they want to achieve.

It used to feel like a great accomplishment but now it’s not much more than winning a local. The teens need a reason to want to compete. If not they will go elsewhere and find a competition that makes them feel like they matter. Bring back the excitement for teens.
