Subject: I think when there wasn’t a press release of resignation of a public figure, people start to question. Not out of malice, just general curiosity. It’s an easy “We are so grateful and proud of how she has represented our state. She is needing to step away from her duties due to personal matters. We wish her the best.” Some people don’t follow every bit of news, so had no idea she needed to resign. Let’s all assume positive intent.
