[> Subject: Why not? For women who long for Miss A 1.0 - those that appreciate consistent scoring (25% per since the start), age & other entry rules do not change every year, for starters

[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Honestly, why do you care where girls compete? So what if they do Miss City & then next year NAM & the year after Collegiate? Lot’s of Miss A (not just here) have done them all. Abby & Sophia have done well/won national titles in other systems & then won Miss O. There seems to be some personal vendetta towards MCA (and other systems). Miss A is not even close to what it was before 2018. It is just another way for girls to get more $ & experiences they cannot get with many Miss State competitions (often national - with upwards of 100 competitors).

[> [> [> Subject: It all depends on new leadership and if they play nice with others. I think Volunteer is a great training ground, but Miss Oregon is tops in scholarships, prize package, training and experience. We all know Sophia ran to boost her pageant coaching biz. Let’s just hope she does well at nationals, but I frankly don’t see that happening.

[> [> [> Subject: Tbh it’s an easy way for someone to get nationals experience. Great opportunity to go to MVA or Sweet Heart and then come back to MAO. Unfortunately, there just hasn’t been much participation or competition in Oregon.
