The vampire had left some time ago, leaving her with troubling thoughts and serious doubts about what she was doing. She hadn't realized she had gone so very far from Wyrd, but in retrospect it was probably a good thing, it gave her time alone to think about what had been said. She paused for a moment, listening to the sound of branches snapping along the ground, and let her own consciousness expand to see what could be making the sound. To trained ears it sounded like an inexperienced hunter, one that would have to learn fast if he wanted to catch any game. She caught a thin trace, it wasn't animal, and it didn't have the aura stench of one of the undead. Shaking her head she turns in the direction the sound is coming from and hears a voice, that of a boy by the sound of it, call out. She didn't know anyone by the name Fay, and wondered briefly if this child did. When he stepped out into view, his next words proved he didn't have a clue, mistaking her for one of the creatures that roamed the forests. She knew that some called them fay, but the ones that did, usually knew what they were trying to talk to.
"Well child, I am not "Fay", my name is Lashana. And as for trouble, well unless you plan on throwing mud at me I don't think I have to worry about you much. As for adventure Kiasin, if you remain in these woods you might find more than you bargined for, there are creatures here who will not hesitate to kill you for the simple pleasure they would derive from it."
Leaning on the staff, her mind wandering back to the "talk" she'd had with the vampire, she turns and starts walking again, the boy behind her almost forgotten. She could call and see if Wyrd would meet her halfway, but she chose not to, instead seeking more time to think over what she had been told.
