Zenra finally spoke after a while. She put her hands on Damian's shoulders and looked over his wings toward the boy.

"The Blade Keeper called it the Kyuuyaku no Ayame."

Raken studied the blade for a moment longer.

"Oh yea, I named it after mom......"

Then a few minutes passed, and Raken blanched.

"WHAT THE HOLY HELL! HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIND THIS? HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I MADE THIS THING WHEN I WAS SIX!"

Zenra tilted her head, blinking a few times in surprise.

"Six? But that sword is over seven thousand years old...and you don't look a day over...I'd say eighteen. It's not possible..."

"Lady, nothing is impossible. Improbable yes, but never impossible. And I'm not going into details. It would take too much time."

He smiled awkwardly, grasping the hilt of the sword more tightly.

"And I think the blade liked that word. It's a constant hum now."

Zenra sighed just slightly. "Now my only worry is what have we gotten ourselves into now."
