Ariel had stopped for some time, seeing past the trees and the lake to the very heart of hogoromo. Even as the girl behind her explained what she was and what she could do, even her name, Ariel heard it all, but her mind wasn't there.

"The angel's deminse brings forth an even greater devil...."

She snapped back to reality, the girl's word still fresh on her mind. Prismed eyes held a tinge of fear of what she had seen.

"....If you think you can, I would volenteer. And I believe I would not be the only one..."
