The shield that protected the Hogoromo Clan's home shattered like brittle glass, a split second moment before being restored by the fiery winged child that was no longer a child. The orb that had been sent with the Seer to help stablize her aging so that she wouldn't die from age before she had a chance to experience life had not been delivered, or perhaps it had, but Tiani didn't know how to use it. That orb was the only one of it's kind, unneeded by the other creatures that Crystin had created because they lacked the mortal element that had been provided by the forest child.

Stepping out of the trees, the deep blue of the new shield sparkling behind her she glided over to where the elves lay, one dying of depletion, the other dying to save the only one from her home that stil lived. Bat like wings fanned the air, blocking out what little sun penatrated the thick foliage of the edge of the forest. Crouching down she peered into Immarra's eyes intently before nodding once.

"I will save your friend for you, because you knew a friend of mine and did not judge her. Your friend will slip into sleep for a time, but he will waken."

Touching the fallen elf's head lightly with one black taloned hand, the body of the demoness became transparent and seemed to flow into Keman's body. She was giving her up her own existence to aid one she did not know because they had been kind to a fellow of hers. The body of the demoness faded from sight and Keman groaned softly as energy began to flow through him again. He slid into the slumber the demoness had spoken of and Immarra cradled him, not caring if the world itself was about to end.
