Eyes raised in sync with one another. Saiya-Jin, and Forgotten. Raken with a look of horrow, and Zen with much the same. Tear streaked face looked over her shoulder, and the young saiya-jin's hand regrasped the hilt of the Kyuuyaku no Ayame.

"Mother fuck...." - Raken

"....oh gods no...." - Zen

Never have I felt such pain, a twisting of the mortal soul to a plaything of a mere child.

Prismatic eyes opened slowly, a soft groan. Altrez put the back of his hand to his head.

There's a longing sense of death within my soul that turns the world outside in, the ending colors of black cloud everything.

He turned his head slightly, resting his eyes on the nonmoving form of another near him. Darkened hues of blue and green...

In this world, I am alone, as I see she's not within this mortal coil anymore.

Ariel lay near dying beside him, his other hand clasped in hers. The shattering of energies that Vain had produced made it very clear in who the strong were, and who were not.

I only hope someone sees. Time, as always, holds no pity.
