Curious eyes watched the strange woman worry over how to make food. Jin offering suggestions seeming to only frustrate her. They were talking about going home now and how they could eat there. She sighed like Kiora had taught her and continued to look around her area. Trees and snow and the glimmer of towers off in the distance. Now they were arguing over her, whether it was safe to bring her home or not. The woman did not think so. Jin was torn. She frowned and made a decision. She liked Jin and didn't like the lady yelling at him, so she would solve the problem. Forest green eyes closed and she inhaled deeply, leting every muscle relax as Kiora had taught her. In her mind, she saw a light, small and flickering as it hung suspended inside. She caught that light in her hands, letting focused portions out and keeping the rest locked away. Her hands warmed by the fire and the smell of cooking herbs reached her nose from what seemed forever away. The arguing had stopped.

Tiani opened her eyes and found both Jin and the woman staring at her, the food simmering on the ground where the woman had laid it. Heat was easy, why hadn't either of them done it already? Fiery orange wings twinged behind her in excitement as she waited for them to congratulate her just as Kiora always had. Kiora had always been proud when she had used a lesson.
