Introspective....he felt her hands against his abdomen and cupped them slightly. It had been a few days now since his killing of Zion. A few boring days of filling out paperwork...and keeping up to par on his people. Funny...it seemed like only a few hours. Then again, when one could possibly contemplate eternity...what was but a few days?

Blinking slowly he spoke his words...soft...barely heard. "Assemble all of the Darkwind. I have a few things to accomplish before this world once again melts into chaos...For now though..."

Slipping fingers around hers, he pulled her hand to his lips...kissing it softly...

there would be time enough...they were safe here, at least for now...
