 Slender fingers gently stroked the little creatures fur, ignoring the way bristled beneath her touch. "Hush, little wolf, I'm not out to harm you... yet." Crimson lips curved in a sinuous smile, soulless blue eyes regarding the bound Treerunner with intense calm. The scene was frozen for a moment, tension thick and broken only by the wolf cub's growls. "My sire taught me something very important, Lashana. He told me that those closest to you had the ability to rip you apart, consume you, and make you dance your worst nightmares." Her fingers paused over the cubs ears, as though thoughtful. "I wonder what is closest to you." Her smile gave some hint as to what that might be. The cub growled. "Nothing closer than family, don't you agree?"
