In reply to: Sierra 's message, "Smile" on 14:11:23 12/27/02 Fri

The pain her body had been in melted away, leaving behind only echos of it's strength. She heard Sierra's words whispered to her and guessed that Magus had had a hand in easing the torment of her body, but he couldn't touch the agony that was shredding her soul into tiny pieces. The memory of what had happened faded, as though it belonged to someone else, to another time. The results remained the same though, what had been taken from her could not be replaced. Eyes closed so that she could not see the mocking face of her current captor she withdrew into her own mind. Diving deeper than she had ever gone, past the barriers that were only breached in sleep, past the doors of the comatose, she withdrew into the realm of the catonic. If they couldn't find her mind, find the spark that was her, they couldn't hurt her. She wouldn't see the pain of the young cubs and kittens that had been brought to torment her, wouldn't feel their deaths beating against her heart like a spiked hammer. Curling up in the farthest reaches of her mind she waited for the single chance to strike back, to avenge those she could not protect.
