Jin calmly nods at Lashana's idea, the thought of bringing a total stranger that was meddling with the forces of darkness into the very heart of Neo Hogoromo is dangerous. He thought of asking Lady Garnet to watch over the girl, but that would place her life in danger, and Hogoromo without Garnet just isn't Hogoromo. Before he could even inquire, the walls rose up and formed into a cave.
"Hmm...cozy..."
He smiled, as Lashana only looked at him, and walked off. He knew that though he knew the forest well, Lashana knows the forest from a different perspective, hence forth her power to communicate with the Earth and it's children. If she would be in any danger, he would immidiatly sence it, thanks to the Golden Feather, who's true power is more of a mystery to him now than it was before. Tiani pressed herself against his leg, she was scared. Jin's only idea is to be comforting to her, though he knows that it won't be wise getting attached to the child, this is something that is quite inevitable when it comes to Jin's personality.
"Aww, you ok?"
He places his hand on her tiny shoulder, and smiles at her. He wants her to feel as comfortable around him as possible, Jin has always been a sucker for kids.
"It's ok, Tiani. I'll protect you. Don't be scared, ok?"
He takes a step back and then walks around her to face her, he then kneels infront of her to make eye contact, his Silver and Ruby sunburst eyes locking on with hers.
"My name is Jin, I'm your new friend, ok?"
He smiles, his voice soft and comforting for any little girl.
"Don't worry about anything, I'm gonna help you out, ok? Can you talk? I wanna know more about you, and if you tell me stuff about you, I'll tell you stuff about me. We can make it story time." He continues to smile, hopefully the girl will open up to him.
