It wouldn't do for the creature's hunger to overcome it and ruin the... shall we say, signing on bonus for Crystin? I want that Forgotten alive and as undamaged as possible. See to it Kiassa, see to it personally that this Lashana Treerunner is brought back alive."

Kiassa rose from where he was kneeling and bowed before taking himself out of the room. He knew exactly which of the Soul eaters would be perfect for the job. Terrinn had returned not that long ago from his nightly feeding, and would be satiated for some time, but the hunt would interest him enough to send him back out again. The advantage to sending out one of these creatures was that they were nearly invulnerable. When they assumed their form for eating they could not be harmed except by holy magics. When they assumed the form of one of their meals, they gained all of the strengths......and all of the weaknesses, but a swift slide into their feeding form eliminated those weaknessess. It would be interesting to see how this Forgotten dealt with a Soul eater, to his knowledge none of that race had faced a Soul eater before.
