The Treechild was not unaware that another being walked within the confines of the forest, she merely was unknowing of what that creature intended. When the Soul eater entered the clearing, it's form that of a young boy, small of size and with an expression of innocence glued to it's face. The eyes were the only thing that gave it away, cold and cruel, a flat blackness that had seen far too many atrocities to be named, all that remained for it's pleasure was to cause harm to others. The Treechild was not stupid, and ran into the familiar trees, escape the only thing she could think of doing. Putting distance between her and her adversary, to bring the fight she knew would occur to a place of her choosing was what she intended. The demon lord Onimaru was amused, the girl could run to the edges of the earth itself and the creature pursuing her would follow and would inevitably capture her. The insuing chase was sure to prove interesting.
