 Garnet wings extended straight up, dropping her altitude quickly before reopening and landing her gently on broekn ground. She set both kitten's feet on the upturned dirt and looked to them. I still don't know why you came to me. She thought silently, then turned and started towards the place last night's dream had taken her.

The landscape was a perfect memory, though nothing was as it had been since her last visit. Golden eyes flashed over the landscape, falling on stone and wood teepee. She hesitated, then coughed.
