Impossible! Our luck could not be better, my children!

A flourish of dark cape, starlight banished within a world of black. Fangs flashed in morbid laughter.

The Kindred returned home. Ceallac utterly destroyed and all things holy licking their wounds. The world is ripe!

And Ceallac's destroyers?

Pale red eyes catching crescent moon's light, flashing something cryptic.

Consider them irrelevant. Less than one hundred remain and all of those are seeking shelter. Ceallac has ravaged them.

And yet they ravaged Him.

No, their Goddess ravaged Him.

And then what for this Goddess?

This will be a matter of mortals, not of Gods. She has no place in it, and does she seek to interfere... a deity needs followers to exist.

This is not easy prey, Crystin.

Lips pursed, moonlight crossing pale blue eyes, reddened with bloodlust.
