"My lord Onimaru, I bring you news of the world above. The Kindred have been recalled as you predicted they would be, and in the chaos left behind your dark minions have begun to gather. The vampire legions are gathering together, their ranks continue to swell with each night that passes. And I believe you will be pleased with the one who has stepped forward to to lead them my lord. The lovely Crystin leads them, and I believe she has formed her own agenda to pursue. The winged ones, they are dwindling in number, so there will be few to oppose you when you again walk the mortal realm. Even now your demonic legions await your word to advance, they are eager my lord to cause devastation in your name"
"Very good Kiassa, you have done well. Continue to watch Crystin's movements and report them directly to me. I hunger for the day when I may cast aside these chains of light that were cast upon me centuries ago by those flying guardians of purity. Only when my revenge is complete will I rest, and my revenge will know no end until the last of those called Forgotten grovel at my feet. Now go, see to your task my faithful servant, and when I again rule the mortal realm I shall see you well rewarded."
The creature rose from where it knelt, black body moving with a nauseating sinuous grace. It bowed to the massive form seated on the grotesque throne before exiting. The throne had been made of mortals, formed while the humans were still living, and even now cried out their pain with each movement of the scaly body that sat within the throne's embrace. A smile of pleasure curved crimson lips at the sounds of torment rising from his seat and with his own morbid thoughts.
"When I again rule I shall have to make me new throne. One with wings for a back I think. It would be fitting, and the pain I could inflict would be most satisfying. It is nearly time for darkness to take it's proper place in this world. We were meant to rule, not cower in the shadows."
The creature raked an ebony talon across the arm of the throne and chuckled at the cry of agony it produced. Soon the world would cry out it's pain and like this throne there would be no one to hear or care.
