The girl had made a delectable meal, and picking his fanged teeth with a fragment of one her thigh bones he pondered his choice of what to do next. He summoned his servant, and gave him a message to relay to Crystin.

"Kiassa I want for you to invite the Lady Crystin here, there is much we should discuss, and options to be made. In addition to this task I want you to go and instruct the redcaps I sent out to target a specific clan. I want them to feast on the Hogoromo clan. It's time their brightness was dimmed."

Members of the Hogoromo clan had been the ones to imprison him in his own realm, chains created out of pure light coming into being every time he attempted to exit it. To see their blood stain the earth would bring him a lot of pleasure, but no satisfaction. He wanted to be the one to do the deed himself, but he would settle for watching them die, as painfully and as slowly as the redcaps knew how.
