Time has past since Jin, Akujin, Zion, or Miyo have been around to watch the destruction and birth of many of the Forgottens...today, the past is brought up, what ever happened to Jin? How about Akujin, didn't he merge with the Fates?
Back when Zenra just became the Goddess, back when Magus's life came to a disturbing end...back when Forbiddion...was forbiden.
Akujin failed on one note when it came to the fates...he couldn't read his own. Yet he grew to learn...that he couldn't read Jin either....
Jin in the other hand, had problems of his own. He knew he was the clone of Akujin...that his love for the original Goddess was a fake, but even after all that has past, Jin could not accpet her death...Jin still loved the Goddess that Kami took away...this is something that not even his brothers knew, something that not even the elders senced in him...the day that Jin cut Kami's wings off...he felt vengence racing through his viens...it was such a good feeling...back when Kofora was his student...
Yet, Jin felt like crap...utter crap. He flew into this massive wave of sorrow, knowing that he fought Kami that day for more of his own intentions then the world. Eventually, Jin realized that this is a natural emotion, as much training as he puts himself in, he can't avoid being...human...no being...alive.
When Zenra became the goddess, he refused to accpet that, deep down inside...he thought that she was still alive, that Zenra needs to step down...to make a search party...but he gazed into the mirror and saw his infinity was gone...he knew. He knew what happened. Yet, he refused to accept Zenra, and never recieved the White Wind.
Jin went from a Forgotten that can put up a fight, to a mere mortal that can be kicked aside. His wings were for decoration, he served no real purpose in excistance, he was just a ball of energy with flesh, a toy of the Holy Sword...the Holy Sword that gave him life.
Yet, something was wrong...Jin noticed this when he fought Akujin. Akujin is the dominant side...the real Forgotten, yet he couldn't detect his own "ball of energy's" movements, Jin in the other hand, had no problem sencing Akujin. This posed a threat to Akujin...he felt threatened and needed an upper advantage...thus attacking Sierra and stealing her Chaos. He was the original owner of the Chaos...placing into the womb that Sierra slept in so it can manifest while he consentrated on other things. Taking it back was no biggie...but now Sierra could detect him. Akujin had no where to run.
Jin slowly began to have a different understanding of himself. The Holy Sword granted him access to the spiritual world. Jin didn't understand this, nor did he know how to manifest from this energy. Jin figured that he has no soul...he's a clone...an animal. But...how could he have access to the spiritual world?
It became clear though...clear as day...
Deep within sub dimentions...where life begins and dies...where souls travel in and out of excistance...where the FATES themselves reside in.
AKUJIN
"AHAHA!" His body is floating up in the void...the ceremonial tatoos on his body glowing it's bright gold, energies of the FATES manifesting within him and growing stronger. "THIS IS IT! FORGET ZENRA! I COULD MAKE A GODDESS OF MY OWN! I WILL BE ALPHA AND OMEGA!" The Chaos within him begins surging with power as it begins to merge with the power of the FATES that Akujin already possessed. The actual FATE, being a number of beings of pure energy of time and space within itself, begin to emerge from the void. A spot of golden energy appearing in random locations of the area.
Yet spot of energy wasn't golden...but a pure white surging with Holy energy, more of the divine power that Jin could ever possess...yet...
???
"I figured you were here." The energy slowly begins to take shape into a body of well familiar build. Rays of peaceful energy emmiting from the figure, not harmful rays...but warm rays...rays that make you feel like if there IS hope in life, rays that make reality not seem as bad...rays made purly of the souls that died an honorable death, defending the right to be free...the right to live.
AKUJIN
Within his madness, his eyes widen, he did not beleive that years of researching lead him to find this land...this void of FATE, and HE found it within the small amount of time that elapsed from their first encounter when he already had the power of the fates. "YOU?! HOW?! HOW COULD YOU HAVE FOUND ME?! No matter...your too late, Jin! The process has begun! Now the bodies of all FATES will merge into one entity, and I shall merge with it! You...and everybody else who crossed me will cease to excist!"
JIN
The energy begins to gain texture and finally reveal that this Holy energy is infact Jin. He found his way to the FATES location, he found his way to Akujin, his Holy Sword glowing a bright white, yet, he wasn't in a fighting stance...not defensive nor offensive. "I'm not here to stop you Akujin...I'm here to save you." His voice emotionless, as if listening to Death himself, his voice low and slightly grogy.
AKUJIN
With a brief laughter in mockery and disbeleif, "Save me?! Save me from what?!"
JIN
"Your plan is not going to work...today Akujin...your going to die...." His voice never changing, not a tone, not in volume. He just stares at Akujin...as if he will never see him again.
AKUJIN
"DIE?!" Now he's in a burst of laughter, "You never give up, do you? Why, once I merge I'll - " His sentence is cut short. His body begins to pulsate, all he could doo is curl up in mid flight, "WHAT?!" The merge of energy in his body was too much. When the Chaos was about to merge with his FATE energy, it was worst than to positive charges forcefully clashing unto another. The Chaos, having it's own thought, disliked it's host...and forcefully departed from his body. The soul it clentched to and ripped apart was Sierra's original soul...it was it's only means of leaving Akujin. Yet, even though Sierra's new 'copied' soul had no Chaos...is as if the Chaos missed her, and to that direction it headed...back to it's REAL host, where ever the soul goes to, the Chaos will flow. "HOW?! MY BODY CAN HANDLE IT!" He slowly floats down, he overcharged his FATES energy to match with the purity of the Chaos, to match it with the Chaos within itself. When it comes to energy, Akujin's body should have been able to handle it. "HOW?!" His body slowly floats down, still curled from the exploding pain from within him. He lands right infront of Jin, hugging himself in agonizing pain, the FATES within him was momments away of bursting out of his body.
JIN
"Your body can't handle the energy, Akujin...because you have no body." A slight pause, he looks down at the tortured fool, "Akujin...YOU are the clone!"
AKUJIN
Eyes widen...it never struck him before on why he couldn't detect his own fate...or how could he couldn't detect Jin's fate either. He remains silent, not allowing himself to admit defeat, he will never admit defeat.
JIN
"Back when I fell in love with the Goddess, I was but a mere elf, while she was Forgotten. I felt that I needed to be like her, to have her. Out of my own selfish ambitions, I sought out the Holy Sword...YOU were my selfish ambition. Upon arriving to the Holy Sword...that fateful day...the Sword saw how I...me...Jin...I was pure at heart, but I was misguided, and the Holy Sword senced that it NEEDS this to be it's swordsmen. I sought out the sword to use it's divine power to change me...and it did more than that. Only those that are pure can possess the Holy Sword, and YOU were like a viral infection. YOU were turned into energy and were supposed to be disposed of...but you managed to create yourself into a being of your own, which wasn't supposed to happen...you have no fate because you died 1000 years ago...your fate eneded that day...but your selfish desire...no, our selfish desire created you. The shock of personality gave me mild memmory loss...except for my love for the Goddess...only to find out that she tearned Kami into a Forgotten. At that time, I had but a mere white infinity...upon watching that...for the first time in my life when I was a elf, and the first time as a Forgotten...I cried. That's when my infinity became Silver...it was a blessing, but I always thought of it as a constant rememinder of that day..." He shakes his head. "I just found out about the Spiritual Rhleam, the world were only certain souls can venture to, soul that are pure. I never had access before because I thought I was the clone. When I prayed, I prayed about the souls around me, and never acknowldeged my own. I thought I had none. It wasn't until the Holy Sword tried to show me the truth...that I realized...you are the clone, Akujin."
AKUJIN
Golden waves of energy forecefully bursting out of him one by one, each one leaving a burn mark on his body, at that very second, Akujin accomplished something that he never been able to do before with the last bit of FATE energy he still could control. To possess the FATES, you need knowledge of FATE within itself, without knowledge, FATE is nothing but the untold. Akujin put this story of Jin into the FATES...and was able to finally read his own fate for the first time...Jin has sealed his fate before he realized it...he is going to die yet again...and this time, he had no means of stopping it. But Akujin will never admit it, he will never admit defeat. He stopped struggling with the pain he was suffereing and slowly closed his eyes...he has finally accpeted his fate.
That momment was it...the reuniting. Jin felt that the mass of energy ran out for long enough. He needs to be reunited with a part of him that makes Jin the real Jin. No more running away. He alone can't undo what the Holy Sword did, but the three of them have already accepted their fate...of being one. Jin held the sword up high into the air and closed his eyes, he then lays the tip of the glowing sword ontop of Akujin's head. A quick flash of light emmited from the contact. Akujin's body slowly shrunk into itself, and was revived into what it was long ago...a ball of energy...Akujin is now truly alive...but Akujin is no more. The ball of energy is abosrbed by the Holy sword, the sword itself waiting almost all of it's own energy to undo the death of a thousand years, the Holy Sword was on the verge of it's own death. But the only thing that could be done now, is to become one. The Holy Sword begins to decipitate as the red ball of Akujin's energy slowly makes it's way towards Jin's hand that was around the hilt of the blade. As the Sword decipitates, the particles of energy begin to get absorbed by the Akujin's energy...only to be completely absorbed by Jin.
JIN
His eyes glow a bright red, a golden aura surrounds Jin's body. He now posses the FATES, along with Akujin's...no his own energy. "I have the FATES..." He shakes his head. At that very momment, Jin could've found out his fate, along with the fates of many of his loved ones, but he made sure that that knowledge would never enter his mind. "This needs to be returned." He points his right hand towards the void, the golden aura that surrounded him begins to gather at the palm of his hand, formming a ball of it's own, only to shoot out into the darkness of eternity and decipitate, the masses of energy that are the FATES slowly begin to return to their slumber. "I don't belong here." His body fades from sight, leaving behind small particles of Holy energy.
Upon arriving back home, to the remains of the Hogoromo clan, Jin takes a good look at himself for the first time...the REAL Jin. He was fully himself again, but now capable of controlling his selfish ambitions. His mind is clear, it's like if he is now truly alive. He takes off his heavy black armor, leaving behind a black tank top, his black baggy pants, and his black boots. He places the armor of the floor, the armor's molecules begin to disperse and fade away. The armor within itself is strong, and in the wrong hands may do damage. He rather have to resummon the power of the armor and reunite the molecules then to have it lying around somewhere. Jin picks up a shard of glass and strares at the mirror only to see an old friend of his...himself. Jin's hair is now black with a series of natural dark red steaks with white tendrils of ahir passing through them, the pupils of his eyes are no longer only silver, but now they are sunburst with a vaiarity of silver and ruby. He is his old self again...how he would've looked like as a Forgotte have his energy never been split...but deep inside his very soul lies the Holy Sword, sleeping, only to wake when neccessary.
Jin has accended in his life through many paerils, many deaths, and many joys. Now he is truly a man, the backbone that Zion wanted him to have is there. Jin is still Jin at heart, always strict and a hardass, yet loosened up, somehow. He grabs a small black string that layed upon the ground, probally of an innocent destroyed by his energy, only to grap it in his hand and pray...pray with the souls around him, and his own. As he prays, Holy energy begins to flow around his body as if it were nothing special...just an extra limb off of his body...he then ties his hair back with the string, back into a pony tail.
JIN
Turns away from the reckage of the Hogoromo Clan, "I will be back...and I will revive this clan with a new generation."
He set forth to make sure that there are at least some Forgottens that outlived the tragetied that surrounded them as Akujin attacked. He can only hope that his brothers were still alive, that Sierra was okay, that Magus and her were reunited, that Zion is waiting for him somewhere, and he also hoped that the young Forgotten girl that he saved long ago was still alive...Miyo. She was like the younger sister he never had the joy of having, and wouldn't want anything to happen to her. I figured that Zion and the rest can handle themselves, but Miyo's never been in real combat, he set forth to find her, and make sure she's safe.
And thus...the story ends and comes to the present. The merging keeping Jin alive, giving him the lifespan of that of any other Forgotten...the Holy Sword seeming that it'll never defuse from him...and Hogoromo still in ruins, and now a national trademark...a Holy Land that is there for remembrance, and for prayers...nothing but a mere historical landmark. But Jin will never give up...he will never admit defeat...he will fight on, till death.
