The reply, unexpected and seemingly sourceless sent a thrill of warning down her spine. Her wings flashed to bladed of their own accord and she curled them around her protectively. Gazing around again she sought the source of the reply, not even certain if it had been vocal or mental. If it had been vocal then the one who spoke it might be very nearby, but if it had been mental....... there was no telling how far away it might have originated from. She began the first steps of the transportation spell just in case, having it ready should the "Voice" be hostile.
