Prismed eyes snapped open, and Ariel rose up on her bed. She'd long taken up residence at Zenra's old flat, since she didn't need it anymore.

She looked out the window, northward, with a tilt to the east. The White Wind symbol on her head flickered briefly into sight, swirling through its dizzyingly made kalidoscope of colors, before fading from sight again. She felt a presence, one that was ages old, yet so familiar it was bitter-sweet.

"It is true..." she whispered. The prophetic dreams that came so easily even while she was awake baffled her, for the first time in her life.

"All these years..." she whispered again as she slid out of the bed, and got dressed. Then she walked to a mirror and waved a hand over it. Its reflective surface became milky, and then swirled with white blotches before clearing up again, and showing a group of elves. A glint of colorful metal caught her eye at the brim of the image, though the image would not move toward it.

"...Sun-Descending... I know where that is..."

Her wings quivered as she walked away from the image, and right out of the flat. One strong thrust of her wings and she was air borne.

I have to know. Altrez, is it really you?
