Three gentle splashes of light falling towards uneven ground, hands clasped in semblance of a prayer. The sound of tears striking standing water, echoed across cavernous expanse. A memory of dazed information as a small child rose from her rocky throne. Elven ears piqued to hear her own muffled sob magnified beyond what felt to be an eternity.

"We are trapped here now." She told the glazed eyes of her brother, death's shroud detaining her words from his comprehension. Earthquakes had taken them, ground rippling in prelude to what could only be reffered to as a tsunami of dirt. The falls where a mere trickle, filling their hasty shelter with a steadying drip of what had once been the most beautiful place she had ever known. Pulmakra Falls had been devestated, landscape changed hideously into a malformed version of its former self.

Wafer thin supply of food had sustained them, but no herb found within this jewel lined cave could stop the blackened swelling that had risen in her brother's abdomen. Water was not scarce. Water would likely kill them if starvation did not suceed first. "You would like this place, Mateo. The walls are amazing. When we came in, the rush of the water was dazzling. I thought the light would fade, but it hasn't. The gems themselves glow. You would like it here." Her last words came out in a stiffled sob. She was going to die in this place, surrounded by infinite beauty and that sence of pervading calm.
