Blissful, this sleep. He hadn't had real sleep...since that day. The serpent never slept, not for long periods of time. His mental fatigue finally took its toll, now that he had his true body returned. His spirit hovered just outside his body, and he watched the elves take him into a house. He was naked, he'd expected as much. Clothes couldn't just appear out of no where on a creature that didn't need them.

He deducted it was going to take a bit of time before he could readjust to his body. It was going to take a long time to relearn to fly. But his spirit smiled, somewhat sadly. As far as he could tell...

All he had was time.
